Social Media: Automated or Not?

There has been a lot of hype about social media recently, and conferences such as Media140 have been a great source of debate on social media (uses for, do's and dont's and so much more).

When it comes to social media, I personally believe in keeping it real- basically ensuring there is a real person behind the interaction ( whether that be through tweets on twitter, or other social media platforms).

Something that has been brought to my attention recently is tweetadder an automated tweet service which auto follows up to 1000 users a day, automates tweets so you have tweets coming through day and night and more.

Pros

Makes Life a lot simpler
Tweet even when your sleeping
Automates the follow process- building accounts quickly
A time-saver

Cons

No 'human' interaction
Social Media is about engagement
